February 27 Festivities:
For February 27 we are going to Eastbourne. Monday 1st of February staying at the Queens
Hotel Eastbourne with day trips to Brighton and Hastings. It’s a five-day break with Alfa
Travel, departing from Morley Leisure Centre (prior pickup points include Halifax and
Huddersfield

Anniversary Coach Trip to Southwell
Our 55th Anniversary Coach Trip is on Saturday 26th September. 2026. We are going straight to Southwell leaving Morley Leisure Centre at 9am Prompt and returning from Southwell at 5pm.
There are footpaths leading in every direction including Robin Hoods Way, the Southwell and Bramley Apple trails. Southwell also has a magnificent Minster dubbed “The Cathedral of Nottinghamshire”, a National Trust Workhouse and Infirmary, Byron’s Manor, The Archbishop’s Palace and Gardens, The old Station with it’s Final Whistle pub, A garden Centre with a Swanary, and a diverse range of independent shops, cafes and eateries. So there’s plenty to see and do whether you want to join a walk or just potter around doing your own thing.
Melanie will lead a short walk of just over 6.25 miles which will include quite a few of the sights.
Glynis will be leading a steady stroll/town trail with plenty of stops to accommodate our veteran members.

There are still places left on the coach if you want to go at £15 per person.
